Laura Jenness is a visual storyteller and creative professional with a knack for helping people understand, learn, and engage through images. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Master of Fine Arts in Sequential Art, and brings more than 18 years of professional experience as an artist, designer, and entrepreneur.

Her diverse background is reflected throughout her portfolio, with work ranging from children’s book illustration and graphic novels to architectural renderings and botanical studies. Based in Wuppertal, Germany, she specializes in visual storytelling, illustration, and creative content development, with a particular interest in whimsical fantasy, children’s media, and educational content.

Having recently relocated from the United States to Germany, Laura achieved B1 German in just a year and a half and continues to work toward B2 proficiency. This experience has strengthened her adaptability, curiosity, and enthusiasm for new creative challenges. Moving forward, she is particularly drawn to projects that combine storytelling, creativity, and learning, and finds the greatest satisfaction in creating work that is both meaningful and engaging.
